We recently purchased a copy of the Ad Word Analyzer, a popular keyword research tool that simplifies the research process.

At a glance, the user interface is rather unintuitive, and it takes some time to become familiarized. The layout consists of a two tier navigation menu to separate searches. Instead of experimenting with Ad Word Analyzer, it may be easier to look through the help and index beforehand to understand all of the features.

Aside from the poor interface, this tool is remarkably useful. It combines results from WordTracker and the Google Adwords External tool, and is much more efficient than manually viewing the sites and comparing results. Ad Word Analyzer also provides many useful results for compiling search results such as saving results as CSV, HTML, and AWA reports.

Ad Word Analyzer also provides highly useful results to searches ratio statistics to help compare searches as well as the actual search results, features neither Google Adwords External nor WordTracker provides.

Despite the slightly steep learning curve, Ad Word Analyzer is a worthwhile investment for the time it can save. If you want to streamline your keyword research process, this is the tool to be purchasing.
